The "Fast & Furious Litter" was born in a loving CARE foster home after their mom, Dixie (Beagle), was rescued on the side of the road. No microchip or tags, no owner came forward and she was pregnant. Now Dixie and her 6 puppies are up for adoption. All will complete basic vet care through us and has already started. Dixie is 18 lbs. We don't know who the dad is, but so far, it looks like the puppies are going to stay small to medium.
Dixie has been dewormed, microchipped, started heartworm/flea/tick prevention, and was vaccinated for distemper/parvo (DHPP) twice now. She will receive her rabies vaccine at the time of spay on 2/14/24.
Adopter must be willing to drive back to CARE in Lexington, SC for the the spay appointment. This is an overnight stay. The spay & rabies vaccine appointment cannot be rescheduled, so please take into consideration when applying to adopt.
A completed adoption application and home visit are required for approval to adopt a CARE dog. Out of state adoptions okay. All dogs receive a distemper/parvovirus vaccine(s), kennel cough vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, monthly heartworm prevention, flea & tick prevention and treatment if needed, microchip, and are spayed/neutered through CARE.
