Spotify was at a local shelter, waiting on a rescue to pick him up. That rescue never came and he was slated to be euthanized once again. CARE was asked if we could possibly make room for him. How could we say no?
Spotify is a sweet, smart, loving boy. He's eager to play with other dogs and did well with dogs his size at the shelter. We get the feeling he may not be good with small dogs or cats, but he has not been officially tested.
Spotify is crate trained, leash trained and seems to be housetrained.
Spotify has mild allergies. We think a lot (or all) of this is stemming off the poor state he was in - malnourished, skin & eye infections. For now, he's on Zyrtec daily and doing very well.
All basic vetting has been done.
A completed adoption application and home visit are required for approval to adopt a CARE dog. Out of state adoptions okay. All dogs receive a distemper/parvovirus vaccine(s), kennel cough vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, monthly heartworm prevention, flea & tick prevention and treatment if needed, microchip, and are spayed/neutered through CARE.
