Sakura needs your help.  She has a condition called Flat Chested Kitten Syndrome or Pectus Excavatum(xrays below).  There is info about it on this website that explains the surgery that Sakura needs.

She is strong and doing well, but her heart is pushed off to one side and she does have some difficulty breathing.  She is the sweetest kitten and really deserves this chance!


Update:
    Sakura is doing amazing after her surgery!  She is like a different kitten.  She eats like a little piggy, plays like a normal kitten, and her MEOW works!  She will wear the cast for 6 weeks. Recheck next week.  We are all praying for a fabulous check up!


Update 9/2010:
    Sakura is doing well, but needs to see a specialist for an opinion on her back.  Unfortunately, while her surgery on her sternum was a success her spine has gotten worse.  Please contribute if you can. Any amount helps!

All cats receive a distemper vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, FELV/FIV combo test, and are spayed/neutered through CARE.
